Applications are invited for one year training& Incubation at SIDBI INNOVATION & INCUBATION CENTRE (SIIC),IIT Kanpur for those having minimum five years working experience either in public sector or self- employed after passing ITI and completing the apprenticeship program at any industry as per NCVT Syllabus/Norms.
The following ITI trades’ candidates are eligible for submitting application up to 18th March 2016, (5 PM.)
- Electronics Mechanic
- Electrician
- Electroplater
- Lift and Escalator Mechanic
- IT & ESM (H&N.T) & Power Electronics.
THE RULES AND REGULATION FOR TRAINING PROGRAM AT IIT KANPUR:-
- Total 30 numbers of ITI Graduates will be selected based on written test/ interview with working experience of different trades as mentioned above.
- A stipend of Rs. 10,000/- per month per student would be given during stay at ATI Kanpur, Boys/Girls hostel out of which Rs. 2500/- would be retained as security deposit during stay and will be released after successful completion of the training course. The hostel fee for boarding / Mess charge at ATI Kanpur is Rs. 2000/- per month which will be borne by the trainee.
- The initial travelling expenses for outstation candidates for travel in sleeper class for attending interview will be borne by IIT Kanpur.
- Training will be given to improve technical and business skill
- The training period will be for 3 months. After the completion of the training period the trainees will be asked to submit business incubation proposal which will be evaluated by the Management Committee. The successful candidates will be asked to continue for 9 more months to incubate the ideas at IIT Kanpur
- The tenure of working experience / age will be counted as on 29th February. 2016.
